Trotec’s Speedy 300 offers a CO2 laser machine that is specially designed to deliver top productivity for all types of applications - including laser machine engraving and marking, as well as laser cutting and etching. Standard Accessories:
Laser Pointer
Laser pointer offers visual representation of the laser beam to ensure accurate positioning of the processing head prior to the start of the job, and clearly identify the starting point for laser engraving and cutting. This is especially useful during set up with items that are irregular in shape, or require precise positioning.
Auto-Focus
Trotec offers two methods of auto-focus - electro-optical, and our proprietary software based auto-focus that is included with the built-in Job Control Software. This provides users with total flexibility to choose the method that is more comfortable for them.
Air Assist
Trotec's air assist technology prevents the combustion of flammable materials, and improves removal of dust during laser engraving and cutting tasks. It also offers additional protection for your laser system's lens. Air assist is remotely controlled via the built-in JobControl software.
Trolley Base
Every Speedy 300 is supplied standard with a mobile trolley base.
Ferromagnetic Processing Table
This standard feature permits objects that may tend to shift or flex during laser cutting, such as paper or cloth, to be held in place with magnets. The table is manufactured from two sheets of stainless steel bonded to a plastic insert. This provides the flattest possible work platform and the structural strength to support up to 20 kg.
Lens
Different laser applications require different lenses to achieve an optimum result. Speedy 300 comes with one of the following 4 lens of your choice, you can select others as optional accessories.
- 1.5 inch lens: best for fine laser engraving tasks (typefaces as small as 3 pt. are possible)
- 2.0 inch lens: best for all laser cutting and engraving tasks.
- 2.5 inch lens: best for all laser cutting and engraving tasks.
- 4.0 inch lens: best for laser cutting tasks.
JobControl Software
As with all of Trotec's CO2 laser machines, the Speedy 300 laser system comes equipped with the built-in JobControl Job Management Software, available in three different user levels - from easy to expert.
Variable Outlet Connector
The outlet connector included with the Speedy 300 can easily be replaced if a different exhaust system is required.
Harsh Environment Kit
The Speedy 300 laser engraving machine is designed to withstand the harsh environment around it, and features additional protection during contaminant-intensive laser applications such as the production of rubber, wood and acrylic. This eliminates the need to clean components near the processing area – which means that you can keep your laser machine running at all times, without interruptions for maintenance. Please note that for power levels 12W-30W, this is an optional accessory.

Exhaust Systems
A powerful exhaust system is absolutely imperative for the continued safe operation of your laser machine, and can offer much-needed protection for you, your employees and the environment. Trotec offers a broad range of exhaust systems that can be used with the Speedy 300 for any type of laser application.
Cutting Table
For laser cutting, there is a cutting table available for speedy 300, offering a reduced surface area to minimize the reflection of the laser beam and reduce burning on the underside of the material. Air and fumes are drawn through the table’s honeycomb surface, which also helps keep the processing area clean. The table is equipped with straightedge rulers and fixing clamps to enable accurate positioning for laser cutting.
Rotary Engraving Device
Rotary Engraving Device is a plug-and-play rotary engraving device to simplify the laser engraving of cylindrical, conical or spherical objects such as glasses or bottles. Objects up to 400 mm (15.75 in.) long and with a diameter between 0.04 and 6.25 in. (1 mm and 160 mm) may be affixed to the device. The fixture may be inclined from 0-12° for conical objects. The spring-mounted clamping device also makes loading and unloading from the laser system a snap.
